de los módulos especiales sobre privación material infantil (2009 y 2014) de EU-SILC. Nuestros resultados
muestran que el efecto de vivir en un área urbana grande o pequeña sobre la privación material infantil es
más fuerte que el efecto de la privación material del hogar y del ingreso en ambos tipos de hogares. Además, el género del primer perceptor de rentas del hogar es muy relevante en hogares monoparentales.Summary: In this paper we analyze the impact of degree of urbanization (at individual and regional level) on child material deprivation in Spain in single-parent and two-parent households. For that, we use data from EU-SILC 2009 and 2014 special modules on child material deprivation. Our findings show that the effect of living in a large or small urban area on child material deprivation is more relevant than the effect of household material deprivation and income in both types of households. Additionally, the gender of the first recipient of household income is very relevant in single-parent households
