520			_aEl artículo analiza diez trampas económicas que la Unión Europea debería evitar en el próximo ciclo institucional para contrarrestar su pérdida de competitividad global frente a potencias como Estados Unidos y China. Se destaca la necesidad de revisar el enfoque en la Unión Bancaria y la Unión de los Mercados de Capitales, reduciendo las expectativas en ideas políticamente complejas, como los eurobonos, y promoviendo una mayor inversión del sector privado. Además, se advierte sobre los peligros de adoptar medidas contrarias al mercado interior, así como conductas proteccionistas inadecuadas que obstaculicen el avance tecnológico. Finalmente, se insta a la simplificación regulatoria y a la adecuación entre los objetivos fijados por la regulación y los medios proporcionados.

Furthermore, it warns against the dangers of adopting anti-internal market measures and inappropriate protectionist behaviour that hampers technological progress. Finally, it calls for regulatory simplification and matching the objectives set by regulation with the means provided.
