520			_aThis paper simulates the potential economic and fiscal impacts of the new Spanish University Law. Based on its expected positive effects over the production factors (labour and human and technological capital) due to increases in the number of scholarships and dual mentions and higher R&D investment, among the main ones, we estimate its impact on Spanish GDP in 2018. Additionally, we estimate the fiscal return in terms of Social Security contributions and Personal Income Tax. The paper presents, as well, some concerns related to the political and fiscal implementation of the Law at the national and regional levels.
520			_aEste artículo simula los posibles impactos económicos y fiscales de la nueva Ley de Universidades de España. Basado en los efectos positivos esperados sobre los factores de producción (trabajo y capital humano y tecnológico) debido al aumento en el número de becas, las menciones duales y una mayor inversión en I+D, entre los principales factores, estimamos su impacto en el PIB de España en 2018. Además, estimamos el retorno fiscal en términos de contribuciones a la Seguridad Social y el Impuesto sobre la Renta de las Personas Físicas. El artículo también presenta algunas preocupaciones relacionadas con la implementación política y fiscal de la Ley a nivel nacional y regional
