| 520 | _aEste artículo examina las crisis y transformaciones fundamentales de la Hacienda pública y las Administraciones públicas de España en los últimos 125 años. Para ello, por una parte, se examinan las crisis presupuestarias que derivaron en crisis de la deuda pública. Por otra parte, se analiza la evolución del gasto social que dio lugar al surgimiento del estado de bienestar durante la transición democrática. Finalmente, se revisan los cambios en la estructura tributaria que modernizaron y dotaron de suficiencia al sistema fiscal español desde fines de 1970, en consonancia con los patrones fiscales de los principales países del entorno europeo. | ||

On the one hand, it examines the budgetary crises that led to public debt crises. On the other hand, it analyses the evolution of social spending that led to the emergence of the welfare state during the democratic transition. Finally, it reviews the changes in the tax structure that modernised and made the Spanish tax system more adequate since the late 1970s, in line with the fiscal patterns of the main European countries. | ||
