520			_aEste artículo analiza dos tipos de impuestos que recaen sobre el turismo. Por una parte, estudia los impuestos sobre estancias turísticas creados en Illes Balears, Cataluña y la Comunidad Valenciana. Por otra, analiza, a la experiencia europea, la propuesta del libro blanco de la comisión de personas expertas de 2022 de crear un impuesto sobre billetes de avión. Pone de manifiesto los paralelismos existentes entre las estructuras de ambos impuestos; reflexiona sobre hasta qué punto pueden calificarse de tributos ambientales, el impacto real que pueden tener sobre la afluencia de viajeros y su utilidad para obtener recursos que permitan a las Comunidades Autónomas y los municipios para paliar los efectos negativos del turismo.
520			_aThis article analyses two types of taxes levied on tourism. On the one hand, it studies occupancy taxes created in the Balearic Islands, Catalonia, and the Valencian Community. On the other, it analyses the proposal to create a tax on airline tickets contained in the white paper of the 2022 Spanish commission of experts for tax reform; to do so, it considers the example of other European countries. The paper highlights the existing parallels between the structures of both taxes; it reflects on the extent to which they qualify as environmental taxes, on the actual impact they can have on the influx of travellers, and their usefulness in obtaining resources that allow the Autonomous Communities and municipalities to fight the negative effects of tourism.
